Counselling in Central London for performing artists.

If you’re an actor, dancer, singer or musician, or if you’re involved behind the scenes as a director or producer, you’ll know that performing artists, and those who manage them, are under particular pressures and stresses that do not apply to other professions.

Performance anxiety, in all its dreaded manifestations, can have a crippling effect on your career, often when you least expect it.

For ten years I was a Consultant Psychotherapist for the British Association For Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) in Central London where I worked with performing artists in every medium. It means I have a wealth of experience to draw on when it comes to working with those of you who have made your careers in this field.

You may suffer from muscular/skeletal strains as a result of your work, or you may want to address worries about addiction. I can refer you to consultants who specialise in these problems.

I can also put you in touch with organisations that may help you with a financial grant towards your therapy.
